   Supervision & Consultation

Colleagues

Individual Supervision

Relate and Reflect consultants integrate their knowledge and passion for evidence based therapeutic interventions with relational formulation frameworks  to offer collaborative, supportive supervision for practitioners in mental health, education and community care settings. Sessions are typically offered online and can be contracted to regularly occur between monthly and bi-monthly intervals.  Each new supervision client spends their first session establishing their goals and discussing a plan to tailor sessions to meet their needs and practice context.

Group Supervision

Relate and Reflect consultants integrate group work and supervision skills to offer teams of helping professionals a regular space to reflect on, and develop their practices together. Bringing a relational and systemic lens to issues and discussions allows for building connections and increasing awareness amongst team members about the context in which they respond and interact, whilst also focusing on shared practice development for mental health and community care settings. Group supervision sessions can be delivered online or in person at workplaces located in the Metropolitan region of Melbourne.

Secondary Consultations

Relate and Reflect offer individual and group consultations with the goal of exploring a presenting issue and seeking a relational formulation.  Relational formulation is  a way to understand our own response in interactions and consider how this may inform our practice.  We use this reflection to generate a shared understanding and to contextualise the practice experiences of professionals in health and wellbeing settings. The ultimate goal is to increase relational awareness to enhance therapeutic responses. Consultations can be one off or purchased in packages of 5 or 10.
